Hello Booyah Drinkers!

Welcome back to another edition of the Booyah Buzz. We've had some beautiful reviews on our website, google and our social channels recently. The mean a lot and give our small team a big boost! You can leave a review here or on any product pages on our website.

  1. Plants Purifying Your Living Space

Certain indoor plants can improve air quality while adding a splash of greenery to your space. Studies have shown that plants like snake plants, peace lilies, and spider plants can help reduce indoor pollutants by absorbing toxins through their leaves. Not only do these plants purify the air, but they also release oxygen, making your home feel fresher and more vibrant.

  1. Markets

Local farmers markets are a great way to support small independent businesses and find items you probably wouldn't on the high street. Organic Meat and Veg, Artisan baked goods plus way more from local trade. You can find Booyah at many of the local south east farmers markets, keep an eye on our socials for a heads up beforehand!

  1. Stool

DON'T READ THIS IF YOU'RE GROSSED OUT EASILY.
Do your No.2's float or sink? You can tell a lot about your gut health by what is in the toilet. If it floats often then it may be best advised you see a doctor. Some medical conditions can cause the stool to float like bile duct blockage, celiac and those that affect the pancreas.

Fatty foods can cause stool to float too. There could be a problem of how your body processes fat and this could turn into a health issue. It can lead to malabsorption to which your body then does not absorb certain nutrients like fats, vitamins and minerals. A high fibre diet can cause floaters also. Gases produced like methane get trapped inside the stools making them buoyant enough to float.

If it happens every now and again it may just be excess gas, caused by possible eating too fast, chewing gum or too many fizzy drinks. If the floaters persist then seeking some professional advice wouldn't be a bad idea.

HEALTH HACK

Salt Salt Salt
Salt is essential for keeping you hydrated! When we think of hydration, we often picture just water, but electrolytes like sodium play a critical role too. Sodium helps your body absorb and retain water, maintaining the balance of fluids in and around your cells. Especially for people who exercise lots and eat quite healthy, there is a high chance you are low on sodium.
P.S Real salt! A quality Himalayan rock salt or Celtic sea salt. Absolutely not chemical based table salt.
