Alcohol in kombucha
When it comes to drinks like kombucha, there's often some confusion about alcohol content. Kombucha naturally contains a trace amount of alcohol, typically less than 0.5%, due to the fermentation process. This negligible amount is well below the legal threshold for being classified as alcoholic in most countries. However, regulations require us to label it as "<0.5% alcohol," which can lead some people to mistakenly believe it’s an alcoholic beverage. In reality, this tiny amount is comparable to what you'd find in some fruit juices or even ripe bananas! Importantly, kombucha with <0.5% alcohol is considered safe for all ages, including children, offering a delicious, gut-friendly drink the whole family can enjoy.

HEALTH HACK
Hot Yoga
It's January and I've been cold for 86 consecutive days. If you like Yoga I'd highly recommend trying hot yoga. Really nice to get a good sweat on in a warm relaxing environment. Also if you're not that flexible like myself, it's far more comfortable to get into deeper stretches.
