What’s Kombucha?

 

Our premium Kombucha is 100% natural and tastes great. It is raw and unpasteurised so retains all the health benefits of good bacteria and antioxidants.

We use 100% natural ingredients with no additives, concentrate or flavour enhancements.

We bottle the kombucha in dark brown bottles in order not to expose our customers to any harmful chemicals from plastic and ensure that UV light doesn’t damage the organic acids.

Healthy Bacteria

Our kombucha is fermented using organic green or black tea (depending on the flavour), mixed with organic raw sugar cane a living culture called a SCOBY — A Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast otherwise known as the ‘Mother Culture’.

The fermentation process is important as it changes the compounds found in tea into other organic compounds. It is these organic compounds that provide all the health benefits that kombucha is famous for.
